In person, Caitlin (the other person who runs the blog) has met Nick. But we have both talked to Nick (and Matt) over the internet/Skype. They are absolutely lovely people! Bring up movies when you’re talking to them and they will go on forever (just like me); very fun :)
We’re hesitantly planning a trip to Chicago for Twisted this Summer, though, so hopefully we will be able to meet both of them in person sometime soon :)
And it basically only works — Well it works with any of the movies if you want it to. But it works best with Aladdin just because the character Aladdin, in my opinion — and I’ve always thought this since I was a child — is the most despicable man I’ve ever seen. And we make Aladdin so despicable in this show… but he’s not that different from what he’s like in the movie!

It’s basically a parody of Disney. Of like, the Disney movies that were coming out when we were kids. Like Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King. All those ones. So it’s a parody of those musicals with also a little bit of Wicked thrown in there, just because it’s taking a Disney bad guy and saying “Now they’re the main character! What’s it like from their point of view?
